Hello lovely reader! Today I have another summer-oriented beauty product with my review of the Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips (Limited Edition tin for Summer 2017).
Vaseline's Lip Therapy's 0.6 oz steel tins have a bit of a cult following, and I had to grab the Summer 2017 limited edition of Rosy Lips when I spotted it while shopping at Target.
This limited edition features a retro-looking pink tin, with a 70's aesthetics. The size and weight of the tin are the same as the non-limited edition version (0.6 oz / 17g). The tin easily fits in the palm of my hands and the size makes it ideal for traveling.
As the name implies, Rosy Lips has a soft rose smell and light rose tint. The smell is something I would love to wear as a perfume and not something I associate with a facial product. However, it the smell is not overpowering and it does not add any unpleasant flavor. In fact, the product is completely tasteless. And despite the rose tint, the product is appears colorless once applied.

If you've tried Vaseline or any other petroleum jelly-base product, you can imagine what this would feel like on your lips. It has a buttery, slightly tacky feel. In other words, it's exactly as if you were to put petroleum jelly on your lips. However, Vaseline's Lip Therapy has been custom formulated for lip wear.
To use, dab a bit of the product on your finger tips and apply deliberately on the lips. The formula feels very moisturizing and a little goes a long way. This products is best used after on chapped lips or after being exposed to the elements. I'll definitely be carrying this handy drugstore product in my summer bag when I am out and about at the pool or along long summer walks.
The Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips (Limited Edition) retails for $2.99 US and is available Target.
Have you used this product? I would love to hear from you?
This is such a great find. I need to check out my Target and see if they have it, but even if not I would love to try this Rose version of their lippie.
