Hello lovely readers! Morgan Taylor released a Beauty and the Beast nail polish collection for Spring 2017.
I grabbed a few and have some swatches and nail art to share with you today.
The 7-piece collection features five cremes, one shimmer, and a special effect top coat.
Below is closer look of two the cremes, the shimmer, and the top coat.
Gaston and on and on
This is a pastel blue creme. The formula self-leveled fine. Shown below are two coats plus glossy top coat.

Days in the Sun
This is a warm yellow creme with subtle red shimmer. The first coat was a bit patchy but two coats were sufficient for the formula to self-level. The shimmer very pretty against the warm yellow and it's visible in person but it's difficult to catch on camera. Shown below are two coats plus glossy top coat.

This is a cherry burgundy shimmer that glows beautifully from within. The formula is outstanding, requiring only one coat to self-level and become opaque. The color is rich and saturated but I did not have any staining when I wore it with a base coat. Shown below is one coat with no top coat!

Enchanted Patina
This is a greenish-yellow pink duochrome metallic. It is promoted as a special effect top coat meant to give a bronzed antique finish to any gel or regular polish. I found that it also looks beautifully on it's on, although I did have some visible brush strokes due to the metallic finish. I also wish the duochrome would be a bit more pronounced, but I had lots of fun using it as a special effect top coat.
Shown below are two coats by itself plus glossy top coat and two coats over a creme plus glossy top coat.

The polishes retail for $9 US and can be purchased at MorganTaylor.com and Ulta.
Overall, I loved The Last Petal and Enchanted Patina and will definitely be wearing these shades again. I also liked the cremes and thought they were well executed, but there's nothing unique about them.
I will have a post up with Beauty and the Beast-inspired nail art using this collection so I hope you visit this spot again!
