Mainstream Swatch and Review - Zoya Charming Collection

Press Samples

Hello lovely readers! Today on the blog I am reviewing the Spring 2017 Charming collection from Zoya.

swatches from the Zoya Charming Spring 2017 nail polish collection

This collection features 3 cremes and 3 shimmers in mostly pastel shades. It also features 3 complementary lipstick shades.

Let's take a closer look below!

Abby
This is a pastel lavender creme. This polish had a great formula, and one generous coat may be enough for self-leveling and opacity when applied carefully. Shown are two coats plus top coat.

Jordan
This is a creme polish in a classic bubble gum pink shade. I found that I needed two coats for self-leveling and full opacity. Shown are two coats plus top coat. NOTE: My camera really disliked this shade and I was not able to fully correct the color on my PC. This shade is a bit darker in person.

Tina
This creme is described as an medium amethyst shade. Like Abby, one generous coat may be sufficient for self-leveling and opacity when applied carefully. Shown below are two coats plus top coat.

Amira
This is a light blue polish with blue and gold microsparkle (ie, shimmer and micro glass flecks). The Polish is packed with the microsparkles, which makes the formula a bit thick. I found that applying thin layers and waiting at least 5 minutes in between coats worked best for this formula. Shown are two coats plus top coat

Lacey
This is cantaloupe green polish packed with green and gold microsparkle. The same was very similar to Amira. Shown are two coats plus top coat.

Millie
This is a violet polish with red and blue microsparkle. This one had the best formula out of the three microsparkles, and it self-leveled and became opaque with two easy coats. Shown are two coats plus top coat.

Violette
This new lipstick shade featuring a medium wear cream formula. The formula is creamy without being greasy or heavy and glides nicely, even on my chopped lips. I didn't find it to wear for 4-6 hours as the website described, though. Below is a swatch of Violette on my forearm. I have medium tan olive skin, for reference.

Zoya Violette

Overall, I really love the pastels cremes. I liked the shimmers as well, but I feel like the formula wasn't all there and Zoya Lacey clashes against my skin tone.

Zoya Violette is beautiful and an super easy shade to wear on most skin tones. It has become my go-to lipstick, along with Zoya Paisley

The polishes retail for $10 US and lipstick retails for $12 US. These items can be purchased at Zoya.com and at beauty retailers nationwide.

Use the code CHARM for free shipping on any Charming order. The code is valid through March 31st.

Are you getting any of these polishes? I would love to hear from you!
