Maintream Swatch and Review - OPI Fall/Winter Venice Collection Part I

Hi there lovely readers! Today on the blog I have the Fall/Winter 2015 Venice collection by OPI.

The line consist of 10 cremes (Be There in a Prosecco, Tiramisu, I Cannoli Wear O.P.I., A Great Opera-tunity, Gelato on my Mind, Purple Palazzo Pants, It’s a Piazza Cake, Amore at the Grand Canal, O Suzi Mio, My Gondola or Yours?), 1 shimmer (Gimme a Lido Kiss), and 1 metallic (Worth a Pretty Penne) that will be added to the core line. Three limited edition polishes have also been released as part of this collection: Baroque but Still Shopping!, St Mark’s the Spot, and Venice is the Party.

Today on the blog I have the nude and neutral shades (6 cremes in total).

Be There in a Prosecco

This is an off-white crème. The formula was a bit streaky but it eventually self-leveled. Shown below are 3 coats plus top coat.

Tiramisu

This shade is what we call in Puerto Rico café con leche (coffee with milk)! It looks appears as a soft beige with pink undertone once applied over the nails. The formula was very nice and it self-leveled without pooling in my cuticles. Shown below are 2 easy coats plus top coat.

I Cannoli Wear O.P.I.

This is a grayish taupe crème that looks a bit more blueish once applied over the nail. Again, this formula applied and self-leveled nicely. Shown below are 2 easy coats plus top coat.

Great Opera-tunity

This is a muted salmon-color crème. As above, the formula applied and self-leveled nicely. Shown below are 2 easy coats plus top coat.

This is a soft baby blue crème with a nice, self-leveling formula. Shown below are 2 easy coats plus top coat.

Purple Palazzo Pants

This is a purple crème with red undertones. Another nice, self-leveling formula rounds up this review. Shown below are 2 easy coats plus top coat.

Overall, I love this collection! I am happy to see OPI. offered a palate cleanser from all the earth and jewel tones that will be debuting these coming seasons. I also think that similar to a little black dress, every nail polish addict needs some good nude shades in their collection!
