Zoya Brites Collection Swatch and Review

Press Samples

Hello lovely readers! Today I am reviewing the Zoya Brite collection.

Early in 2018, Zoya released a 3-piece pastel jelly collection called Kisses (reviewed here). Zoya brought back the jellies this summer with the 3-piece Brites collection.

Before I go into my review and swatches, let me take a step back and describe what the jelly finish is. Jelly polishes are ultra glossy, translucent, buildable polishes. Some jellies take 3 or more layers to become opaque, and have a squishy, glossy finish. Some jellies never become opaque and are more suited for nail art techniques such as a pond mani (layering glitter or a nail art design between layers of a jelly polish).

The polishes in this latest Zoya jelly trio are all buildable in 3 thin coats. Let's take a closer look below!

Alia
This is a jelly polish in a grape shade. This is the darkest Zoya jelly to date. The application was fine, self-leveling and become opaque in 3 thin coats. Of all of the 3 polishes, I had the hardest time   achieving a consistent opacity this one (some nails ended up looking darker than others).

Shown below are 3 coats plus top coat.

Molly
This is a jelly polish in a hot pink shade. The application was fine, self-leveling and become opaque in 3 thin coats.

Shown below are 3 coats plus top coat.

Paris
This is a jelly polish in a soft fuchsia shade. The application was fine, self-leveling and become opaque in 3 thin coats.

I found this shade to be very similar to Molly. It takes at least 3 coats of each to be able to tell them apart.

Shown below are 3 coats plus top coat.

Overall, I love jellies and I love this collection. I think Alia is perfect color to transition into fall and Molly is absolutely beautiful.

These polishes retail for $10 US and are available here.

Let me me your thoughts on this latest Zoya jelly trio!
