Hello lovely reader. Today on the blog I have the new Kisses collection from
Zoya.
Kisses is a 3-piece collection featuring jellies in pastel shades. If you are not familiar with the term jelly (as it relates to polish, of course!), please allow me to define it for you!
Jelly (or jellies) is a type of nail polish finish that is translucent and most often very glossy. The translucent quality means that it often requires two to three coats to reach opacity. The end result is a squishy, jelly look. The translucent nature of jellies further allows you to incorporate see-thru nail art in between the polish layers, creating what is known as a “pond manicure”. You can also transform them with a top coat such as
Zoya Leia, like shown below.

Libby
This is a pastel lavender jelly. Shown as two thin coats with and without

Vickie
This is a gray jelly with blue undertones. Shown as two thin coats with and without

Princess
This is a cool pink jelly. This is a grayish purple jelly. Shown as two thin coats with and without
Zoya Leia.

Zoya Leia
This opalescent white topper features fuchsia, green, and gold microflakes. It is not part of the Kisses collection, but it is suggested for pairing with these jellies. Shown below are three thin coats plus top coat.

Overall, I love this collection. The shades are beautiful and the formulas are all great. These are available at
www.zoya.com and retail for $10 US.
These jellies are beautiful by themselves or with a topper, and they are also great for nail art. I will have a follow up post featuring a pond manicure so stay tuned!
