Hello lovely readers. Step-by-step Nail Art Thursday is back with a hand painted summer beach nail design.
I have done a similar mani to this one in the past, but I updated it by adding more color and details to the starfish, as well as some cute sand dollars.
Let’s take a closer look below!
The base
For the base, I started off with a neutral sandy color. For this mani, I chose Jack* from the Zoya Sunshine collection, which I reviewed here.

The scene
Next, I added the water element of my beach scene. To do so, I did an ombre mid-nail by applying SinfulColors Endless Blue, Vibrant Vida, and Fool for Azul using a makeup sponge.
I added some additional details by painting some subtle water foam using white acrylic paint and a fine brush.

The details
Next, I used Zoya Cora* and Demetria and a fine brush to paint starfish, sand dollars, and seashells to my beach scene.
The final look
To finish my look, I applied a fast drying top coat, followed by a matte top coat.
