Hello lovely reader! Today on the blog I have Perla Negra by 5-free indie polish maker Moonflower Polish.
Nadia, the maker of Moonflower Polish, asked members of the Facebook fan group for suggestions on what to do with an "oops" polish that was supposed to Noche, a black stamping creme, but she accidentally added an extra component. The group voted for a subtle multichrome, and hence, the "oops" became Perla Negra!
Perla Negra features silver and subtle blue/green/purple multichrome shimmer in a black base. It stamps but it also wears nicely as regular polish without any staining. It is very opaque on the first coat, but may require two coats for self-leveling.
Shown below are two coats plus a glossy top coat.

I also swatched Perla Negra. For this, I used a bridal stamping plate from Moyou London and a soft stamper from Fab Ur Nails. I paired Perla Negra with Anteros by Different Dimension in the mani below. The polish picked up the fine lines of the stamped design with no problems. Also, I had no smearing after applying a glossy, fast drying top coat.
