Review and Swatch - Full Throttle Collection by SinfulColors

Today I have swatches and reviews of one of SinfulColors newest collections - Full Throttle.

This collection by SinfulColors is comprised of several textured cremes and was released on Summer 2014. The formulas were very nice, with little to no streaking, no pooling, and achieved full opacity with 1 to 2 coats for most polishes shown.

First swatch is 'Red Tired'. This color is the classic red Mustang, Campbell's, Coca-Cola red. This formula was fully opaque with just 1 easy coat. The rubberized texture was very noticeable once the polish dried completely. Shown are 2 coats without top coat. For the accent nail, I stamped black polish over 2 coats of 'Snow Me White' by SinfulColors using stamping plate m69 from www.bornprettystore.com.

Polish shown is 'Red Tired'. Two coats, no top coat.

Next swatch is 'Rain Rubber'. This is a medium-shade cornflower blue. Again, another great formula with full opacity after 1 easy coat. The rubberized texture was very noticeable once the polish dried completely. Shown are 2 coats without top coat. Accent nail is same as above.

Next swatch is 'Rubber Ball'. This is a medium-shade pink creme. The rubber texture in this one was not as obvious and the formula was a little bit streaky, requiring 2 coats for full opacity and coverage. Shown  are 2 coats without top coat. Accent nail is same as above.

Next swatch is 'Burn Rubber'. This is a medium-shade apricot creme. This formula was my least favorite. It was streaky and required 3 coats for full opacity and coverage. Again, the rubberized texture was very noticeable once the polish dried completely. Shown are 3 coats without top coat.  For the accent nail, I stamped black polish over 'Pop Artist' by Funky Fingers and 'Amethyst' by SinfulColors using stamping plate BM-023 from www.bundlemonster.com.

Polish shown is 'Burn Rubber'. Three coats, no top coat.

Last swatch is 'Race Rubber'. This is a rich, deep burgundy creme. Again, this was another great formula requiring only 1 easy coat for full opacity. The rubberized texture was very noticeable once the polish dried completely. Shown are 2 coats without top coat. Accent nail is same as above.

Polish shown is 'Race Rubber'. Two coats, no top coat.

Overall, I think this is a very nice collection sure to please those who are fans of textured polishes and those who prefer something a little bit more subdued. The colors are very versatile with 'Race Rubber' being perfect for the Fall. In addition, 3 more polishes Fall cremes have been recently added to the collection: 'Casablanca' (silver shade), 'Gold Medal' (dusty gold shade), and 'Snow Me White (white shade).

SinfulColors polishes retail for $1.99 and are available at Rite Aid, Walgreens and other national retailers.
