Nail Art - Galaxy Manicure

Today's nail art is a little out of this world!

Galaxy nail art using starry night polish by sinful colors and day glow teal and ultra violet polish by maybelline

I did my first galaxy nail art for  #31DC2014 on Instagram. I started with 3 coats of 'Starry Night' by SinfulColors as my base. This polish is a black glittery jelly. The formula pulls making it a little challenging to work with, but provides beautiful coverage and opacity after 3 coats.

I next used a makeup sponge to create the nebula. For this, I used 'Ultra Violet' and 'Day Glow Teal' from Maybelline's Summer 2014 bleached neon collection. I applied a little nail polish on the makeup sponge and applied lightly on my nails.

I finished the the look by paintings stars with acrylic paint and applying top coat.
