Hello lovely readers! Today I am sharing a different take on patriotic nails for Independence Day 2018.
If you have followed by blog for some time, you would know that I usually bust out the red, white, and blue nails for Independence Day.
This year I wanted to do something a little bit different, settling on Lady Liberty's torch. I do not own any Lady Liberty stamping images, so I tried my best at free-handing my design.
Polishes used include Birthday Bitch '17 by Vapid Lacquer, A Million Thoughts by Moonflower Polish, Bonna Blue by Fresh Paint, and Nut'n Better by Cupcake Polish. I chose these polishes to play off Lady Liberty's oxidated blue-green shade.

I wish everyone celebrating today a fun and safe day. I will be spending a low key day with my family, grilling some hot dogs and trying to stay cool in this heat wave!
Great mani! That Vapid is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe Vapid is a terrific polish. I love how you incorporated it into this nail art.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July!! I love this mani, I don't think I've ever seen a liberty fire on the nails like that. You are so creative!
ReplyDeleteThe Vapid Lacquer polish is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAmazing mani!! I like how it’s more subdued and slightly grungy vs the usual bright and bold colors.
ReplyDeleteI love the color scheme!
ReplyDeleteI love the torch!!! Such a cute idea and stands out from your traditional patriotic mani this time of year! I love it!
