Moonflower Polish Neon Summer 2018 Collection Indie Swatch and Review

Press Samples

Hello lovely readers. Today I’m reviewing the Summer 2018 Neons collection from 5-free indie polish maker Moonflower Polish.

Nadia, the creative force behind Moonflower Polish, has been working on perfecting these neon stamping polishes for the past year, and I will say off the bat that the hard work has paid off.

Color-wise, the 8-piece set covers a wide neon spectrum and the bright colors are perfection. And as you’ve come to expect, not only look beautiful, but they stamp and wear beautifully as well.

Before I go into the swatches, here are some important facts for your consideration:

  • All of the swatches below are over a black or white creme or applied on the whole nail (two coats), plus glossy top coat
  • These are highly pigmented and may cause some staining, for which a base coat is recommended. I did get some nail staining from Lemonade, but none to report from the other 7 shades
  • The polishes feature a sparkly shimmer that is most visible when stamped
  • Neon polishes are sensitive to UV light, so it is best to store them protected from light
  • These dry very fast, so speed and organization are key when stamping
  • These polishes self-level and are opaque in one to two easy coats, dependent on application
  • I had to color correct most of the colors due to the neons not playing nice with my camera. These are all super saturated neons and truly brilliant in person

Ok! Now, onto the swatches!
