Hello lovely readers! Today I am reviewing Tender, a Polish from the new Flowers in Sunshine nail polish series by Born Pretty Store (BPS).
The Flowers in Sunshine series features four shimmery, shifting polishes: Tender, Recall, Young, and Years.
Tender features scattered holo and a red shimmer in a lavender base that shifts from a reddish purple to a pale gold.
The formula is a bit on the thick side but applies and self-levels nicely. Despite this, it took me three coats to achieve full opacity.
Also worthy of mentioning is the new packaging. The polishes will come in 6 ml glass bottles with gold screen printed labels featuring a new shape for BPS, as well as in individual white boxes (my box got damaged in transit and, therefore, not shown).
The swatches below show three coats plus a glossy top coat. I took lots of pretty shots, so lets get to it!

Overall, this polish is absolutely stunning. This polish is reminds me of what my favorite indie polish makers are offering and BPS definitely hit the mark with this one.
This polish will debut on June 6 and it will retail for $4.49 US here in the newly redesigned website.
You can use my code LATQX31 for 10% off your purchase.
What do you think of this and the other new polishes from BPS? I would love to hear from you!

ReplyDeleteI like this color! Personally purple has never been a good color on my skin tone, but this color brings back feelings of nostalgia. Makes me think about the days where my entire life was evolved around Disney princesses!
