Indie Swatch and Review - F.U.N Lacquer Summer 2015 collection (partial)

Nothing to Disclose

Hello lovely readers! Returning to my blog is Singaporean indie polish maker F.U.N Lacquer with 3 vibrant shades from the Summer 2015 collection.

F.U.N Lacquer is one of a handful international polish makers I collect (Did I mention I'm in the United States? !!). The brand debuted in 2014 and quickly became known for its high quality components and its full coverage holographic microglitters.

The Summer 2015 its a departure from the microglitters. It is comprised of 6 bold and vibrant scattered holographic polishes with just a touch of gold hexagonal microglitter: Goodness of the DawnGreen FoliageBlue Tears, Seductive Marmalade, Moonlight Nocturne, and Glitzy Glam.

Today I am sharing my swatches and review of Seductive Marmalade, Moonlight Nocturne, and Glitzy Glam.

Seductive Marmalade

This is a redish orange polish with scattered holo, gold microshimmer, and gold hexagonal microglitter. The formula for all three polish was consistent throughout. It covered nicely after two coats, it self-leveled, and it glide along the nail. Importantly, none of the polishes stained despite the high pigmentation. Finally, these will remove easily with acetone, unlike the F.U.N Lacquer microglitters.  Shown below are two coats plus top coat.

Moonlight Nocturne

This is a purple polish with a red undertone, featuring scattered holo, gold microshimmer, and gold hexagonal microglitter. Shown are two coats plus top coat.

Glitzy Glam

This is a green turquoise polish featuring scattered holo, gold and blue microshimmer, and gold hexagonal microglitter. Shown are two coats plus top coat.

Overall, I love these three polishes. The colors are gorgeous, very versatile, and perfect for transitioning into the Holiday season. Also, you will need to do little to no cleaning when you apply the polish carefully. With my hectic schedule, being able to pull off a 15 minute manicure is a plus!

Let me know what you think of these!

  3. I like FUN I just wish they had more realistic swatches as they are released. These seemed much more sparkly in their promos.

  5. Hmm interesting! This reminds me a bit of another collection that F.U.N. came out with but I can't say 100% for sure because I bought them and still haven't worn them. It was last fall when I was BUY ALL THE INDIES and I just overloaded myself. But I do like how pigmented they are and I'm glad to hear they don't stain.
