Indie Swatch and Review - New Year's 2016 Trio by Enchanted Polish

Nothing to Disclose

Hello lovely readers! I have another first on the blog today with my review of the New Year’s 2016 Trio from Enchanted Polish.

I have always been intimidated to shop at Enchanted Polish as the polish can be pricey and hard to score. However, the maker Chelsea released this trio during her last restock, and I thought it would be the perfect way for me to try out the brand.

Before I go into my review, let me first say that the formulas for all 3 polishes were very nice. They glide beautifully over the nail, they provided very nice coverage from the first coat, and they had a beautiful glossy finish.

The trio is comprised of Dom, Vintage, and Winter. Let us take a closer below!

Dom
This is described by the maker as a champagne gold ultra holo and glitter. The color looks very rich against my skin tone and the ultra holo and glitter are beautiful and very noticeable. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Vintage
This is described by the maker as a mauve duochrome scattered holo. The scattered holo is subtle and appears gold under certain lights but I would not describe this polish as a duochrome. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Winter
This is described by the maker as a dove grey/white holo.  A more accurate description would be a light grey polish with subtle linear holo. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Overall, I really like this trio. Vintage and Winter do not quite fit the descriptions provided by the maker but they are nice shades that can be worn year round and the formulas were very nice. The standout from this trio is Dom. I have been buying every neutral/champagne/brown holo I could get my hands on since last year and this one is one of my favorite in my collection.

The trio sold for $51.00 and is currently sold out at Enchanted Polish.

Do you own this trio or any other Enchanted Polish? I would love to hear from you!

  8. I love how fine the glitter is in this polish. It's still shiny and sparkly, but doesn't look chunky. Very pretty!
