Indie Swatch and Review - Holiday 2015 Collection by Bear Pawlish

Nothing to Disclose

Hello lovely readers! Today I am sharing swatches of the Holiday 2015 collection by Bear Pawlish. Yes, I know the Holiday season is over but these polishes are not too Christmassy so I hope you continue to read after the jump!

The collection is comprised of 7 polishes in a variety of finishes: Tinsel Town, Double Crantini, Treat Yourself, The Night Before, Light the Tree, Peppermint Bark, and Wintermint.

Tinsel Town
Well, let me get this one out of the way!!! This polish looks nothing like what was depicted by the maker on social media sites. The polish I received is a light gray crelly vs the advertised light crème with the same glitter and holo. The formula added salt to the wound as it took some effort for it to self-level. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Double Crantini
This is a crimson colored crème with linear holo. The formula self-leveled nicely but occasionally left tiny lumps on the nail surface. Shown below are 2 easy coats plus top coat.

Treat Yourself
This is a neon-leaning pink polish with small metallic glitter and scattered holo. The formula was very nice. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

The Night Before
This is a cobalt blue crème with linear holo and hex and square opalescent glitter. The formula was a bit thin but self-leveled and became opaque after 3 thin coats. Shown below are 3 coats plus top coat.

Peppermint Bark
This is a white crelly with metallic red glitter in various shapes and sizes. Now this little beauty I love, love, love! The formula was very nice too. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Light the Tree
This is a platinum polish featuring linear and scattered holo as well as metallic green and yellow glitter in various shapes and sizes. This is another one that I felt in love for both its beauty and its formula. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Wintermint
I'm finishing my review on a high note with this teal beauty featuring lots of linear and scattered holo and tiny blue glitter. This too had a very nice formula. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Overall, nice was a pretty collection. I don't particularly care for Tinsel Town but Peppermint Bark, Light the Tree, and Wintermint are great polishes. I'm hoping I can use Peppermint Bark and Light the Tree for Valentines' and St Patrick's day nail art, respectively.

Did you get any of these polishes or have an opinion about the collection? I would love to read about it!

  4. Great review! I'm afraid to buy any of these polishes because people have had really long wait times and I'm impatient.
