Hello there lovely readers! This week I chose an untried polish for a nail art prompt on Instagram and the polish was so magical that I had to blog about it! Keep reading after to jump to find out more about Drunk on Holo by 5-free, cruelty-free indie polish maker Painted Polish.

Drunk on Holo was the Painted Polish polish that I HAD to own and it took me a few months before I was able to get a hold of it. Ironically, I’ve now owned it for over a year and this is the first time I've swatched it.

The polish is features gorgeous silver ultra-holo microglitter in a clear base. I found that I had to apply the polish carefully and wait several minutes (longer than my usual 1-2 minutes) in between coats to avoid dragging the polish and ending up with bald spots. Shown below are 3 thin coats plus top coat.

Overall, I love this polish and I don’t understand for the life of me why it has taken me this long to use it! The polish retails for $10 US for a 15 mL bottle and can be purchased at Painted Polish (pre-order).

Painted Polish is most definitively a brand that I will be purchasing from again in 2016.

    So pretty. I buy silver holos like this all the time but don't wear them often. I'm more into golds but that doesn't stop me from buying!
