Hello lovely
readers! I hope you are all enjoying this Holiday season as you gear up for the
New Year. Today I am sharing a manicure that that reminds me of a cutely
wrapped gift! Continue reading after the jump for all of the details.
I am calling
this manicure a red and white stripes manicure with a bow. I used several
polishes and stamping plates to achieve the final result.
Base
I started off
with 1 coat (yes, 1 coat!) of Dinner at 8 by Barielle as my base. I
applied a coat of fast drying top coat and waited until it was dry to the touch
before continuing onto the next.

Stamping
Stamping for
this mani was done in 2 steps. Step 1 I used Pekin white
stamping polish by M Polish and stamping
plate AQ91 (purchased from Born Pretty Store). Step 2 I stamped little Christmas
trees over the red and white stripes using Date Night by Barielle and the 2015 Christmas stamping plate by Cici & Sisi.

Advance
stamping
I created a
bow accent for my ring finger by stamping with Cayuga black stamping polish by M Polish and Cici & Sisi
stamping plate 05. I filled in the image with Iron by M Polish while it remained placed on
the surface of the stamper and then carefully transferred the dry image onto
the nail by softly pressing the stamper over the nail.
Finish
I first
applied a layer of fast drying top coat to seal my nail art (for this I use Seche Vite). Once my nails were dried to the touch, I applied
a coat of Sally Hansen’s Big Matte top coat.

Overall, I am
pretty pleased with how my nails turned out. I am trying to get more creative
with my stamping and I think this manicure is a good step on the right
direction!
