Nail Art - Free-handed Hibiscuses Over Holographic Glitter

Hello there lovely readers!  I have been thinking about blogging a bit more about my nail art and today I have the perfect manicure to get me started on this new trend.

I recently saw an Instagram tutorial video on hibiscuses that was posted by NailStorming. Although my nail art does not look anything like hers, it did serve as an inspiration to paint something summery and tropical.

Flowers
I started by applying 2 coats of Ultima (H) by Starrily Nails plus top coat. Once my base was completely dried, I proceeded to hand paint the hibiscuses using OPI Color Paints Magenta Muse and Pink and Pen for the petals, Primarily Yellow for the stem and Landscape Artist for the leaves. I then used OPI Color Paint Silver Canvas and a black creme polish to add some highlights and definition to the flowers once I finished painting them.

Finished Look
I used 2 coats of Primarily Yellow on my pinky finger, 2 coats of Magenta Muse on my index finger, and topped off the whole look with a coat of glossy top coat.

OPI Color Paints in: Landscape Artist (green), Magenta Muse (red),
Primarily Yellow (yellow) and Pen and Pink (pink).

Polish shown is Ultima (Holo) by Starrily Nails

And there you have it! I will try to post nail art more often, but do not worry because I love swatching and reviewing nail polish and I have no plans to stop doing so any time soon!

Thank you for reading and feel free share your thoughts below!
