Hello readers Today I am sharing my swatches of Tropical Winter Vacation, Moonflower Polish's Contribution for December's Polish Pick Up (PPU).



PPU is a monthly e-pop up shop that features indie nail polish, nail care, bath and body, and jewelry. Every month, products are inspired by a theme chosen by the public. For this upcoming month, the theme was "Winter is Coming". Nadia, the maker behind Moonflower Polish, is Puerto Rican, and she was inspired by a beautiful sunset typical of a tropical beach getaway!

Tropical Winter Vacation is a red-leaning purple polish that features pink-red-gold shifting shimmer and subtle scattered holo. The shifting shimmer in this polish gives it a beautiful 'glow from within' look. It can be worn by itself (self-levels beautifully in 1 to 2 easy coats) or as a stamping polish.

Shown below by itself as 2 coats plus a glossy top coat, and stamped over black using a silicone soft stamper and a stamping plate from Moyou London.

Overall, Tropical Winter Vacation is a gorgeous polish, perfect for the Holidays season, and great for both regular wear and stamping nail art.

This polish will be available here from Dec 2 through Dec 6, and it will retail for $12.5 (US - 15 mL bottle). Only 75 bottles will be available (5 on the UK site).
