Hello readers! Today on the blog I have Mistakes, Sassy Cats Lacquer's contribution to Polish Pick Up (PPU) April 2019.
For those reading about PPU for the first time, PPU is a monthly e-pop up shop collaboration of indie polish and products based on a theme chosen my shoppers. Items are available for pre-order the first Friday through Monday of each month, and items ship together for one low flat rate price of $3 (US orders).
The theme for April 2019 is famous works of art, and this polish was inspired by Bob Ross's sunset painting.
Mistakes is a reddish wine jelly polish that features a subtle blue-to-purple shifting magnetic, blue-gold-pink-purple shifting ghost flakes, and gold shimmer flakes. It also wears beautifully as a non-magnetic polish. Because of the jelly finish, the first coat goes on a bit translucent, but the polish builds up nicely, self-leveling and covering in two easy coats.
Shown are two coats plus Sassy Cats Lacquer Purrfect Shine glossy top coat.

Mistake will be available from April 5-8 at www.polishpickup.com It will retail for $13 and only 75 bottles will be available.
Overall, this is a stunning polish, and it wears beautifully both with and without the magnetic finish.
