Mainstream Swatch and Review - Part II of the Pretty Vintage Collection Collaboration by SinfulColors and Kandee Johnson

Nothing to Disclose

Hello lovely readers! Today I have Part II of the Pretty Vintage collaboration between Kandee Johnson and SinfulColors.

Swatch and Review of the SinfulColor Kandee Johnson Pretty Vintage Nail Polish Collection
My review of Cherry on Top, Peaches N' Cream, Licorice, Mint Chip, and Whipped Frosting is here. I'm hosting a giveaway for Cherry on Top, Peaches N' Cream, and Licorice and all details on how to enter are in my previous post.

Now on to five more polishes from the collection!

Strawberry Milk
This is a pastel pink matte polish with gold shimmer. Like I mentioned in my previous post, the shimmer does not translate into the nail for these matte polishes. Also, it takes at least 2 coats of polish for the lighter shades in the collection to self-level due to the finish. Shown below are 2 coats.

Candy Hearts
This is a baby blue matte polish and the only polish in the collection that does not feature gold shimmer. Shown are 2 coats.

Pin Up Pink
This is a hot pink matted polish with gold shimmer. Shown are 2 coats.

Pink Velvet
This is one of three textured polishes in the collection, featuring a grainy or "sugary" texture and gold shimmer. The color is almost identical to Pin Up Pink. Shown are 2 coats.

Kanfetti
This is the only glitter in the collection, featuring hexagons in multiple sizes and pastel colors suspended in a clear base. Shown is 1 coat over Pin Up Pink

Overall, I like this collection. The matte formulas can be challenging to wear at times, but the colors really draw me in. I just love the pastels and the pinks!

These polishes retail for $1.99 US and are available at drug stores and retailers nationwide including Walgreens, Bartell Drugs, K-Mart, and Fred Meyer. Cherry on Top, Peaches N' Cream, and Licorice are only available at Meijer.

I'm still searching for 2 of the textured polishes so please do let me know if you spot them!

  1. Pin up Pink is lovely! I am interested in seeing swatches of the textured ones...it's so hard to get texture right. & when it's done right - they are amazing. :)
