Hello lovely readers! Debuting in the blog is Fair Maiden Polish with two outstanding polishes from the Merry Grinchmas Winter 2016 collection. Keep reading after the jump for a closer look!


Fair Maiden Polish offered a Grinch-inspired 6-piece collection this Holiday season and I just had to own ♥ X 3 and Who-Pudding as soon as I saw swatches.

♥ X 3
This gorgeous jelly features linear holo and scattered holo micro glitter. The first coat looks a bit on the orange and applies a bit patchy; however, the second coat not only brings out the juicy cherry red color, but gives this polish a lot of depth and dimension. I did find that it stained by cuticles a bit, so is best to apply carefully. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Who-Pudding
This deep plum polish features strong linear holo and a gorgeous purple shimmer. This color combo is one of my favorite of 2016 and this is a polish that all nail polish addict should consider! Again, the first coat goes on a bit patchy, but it self-levels and covers beautifully with a second thin coat. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Overall, these 2 polishes are gorgeous. In fact, the whole collection is gorgeous and offers a great balance between traditional Christmas colors, ethereal colors, and rich winter colors.

    ♥ X 3 is so lovely!! Gorgeous swatches - the Who Pudding is calling me too because it's purply!! :) Plus...I mean the duo is Grinch inspired - who doesn't love the Grinch?
