Nothing to
Disclose
Hello lovely
readers! Today I am reviewing Magic Mirror by 3-free indie maker DIFFERENT
dimension.
Before I go
into my review, I wanted to step back and provide you some information on a
trend that is popular among indie nail polish makers. Often, indie polish
makers have Facebook fan pages in which they interact with consumers and in
which consumers show their love for the brands.
The number of indie polish makers that offer custom polishes in their Facebook groups is continuing to grow. A custom polish is a limited edition nail
polish that is created with input from members of the fan page and it is
available only to said members. Every so often I find myself falling in love
with a custom from an indie brand I love and Magic Mirror is my latest custom
polish purchase.
Magic Mirror
features strong holographic particles and holographic flakies in a blacken
base. It has a glossy finish and charcoal gray color when it dries. The first
coat goes on sheer but it builds up quickly. The formula applies nicely and
self-levels without any effort. Due to the larger holographic particles and
flakies, removal does require a bit of effort (not too bad). Shown below are
two coats plus top coat.
Overall, I
really love this polish. I'll probably wear it more during the Fall/Winter, but
for now I'll use it as a base for my nail art. If you are a polish lover but
you are not familiar with indie makers, I suggest you check out DIFFERENT
dimension. This is one of my favorite brands due to its beautiful creations and
excellent customer service.
I hope you
enjoyed this review, and stay tuned for more Facebook custom indie polishes to
be featured in my blog!
