Swatch and Review - Citrus Twist Collection by SinfulColors

Hello lovely readers! I hope you are all having a great weekend! Today I have swatches of the 3 jelly toppers from SinfulColors' Citrus Twist Spring 2015 collection. These were made to be used as toppers but I choose to wear all 3 by themselves. Read and see more swatches after the jump.

Citrus Twist nail polish collection from SinfulColors

Horizon Shine

First up is this beautiful cherry red jelly topper. Like all 3 in the collection, it contains fine iridescent flakies throughout. The formula applied nicely and it built up fast. This one is my favorite and it is a beauty worn by itself. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Ring the Belini

This one is the only citrus shade in the collection. It is an orange that leans towards a butterscotch yellow. You can best appreciate the fine iridescent flakies with this polish. Just like with Horizon Shine, the formula applied nicely and built up fast. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Zest of Times

The last one in the collection is a magenta jelly with blue microshimmer in addition to the fine iridescent flakies. Again, the formula applied quite nicely. Yet, this one was the most shear of all 3 and required the most coats. Shown below are 3 coats plus top coat.

Bonus Nail Art!

Horizon Shine was sooo juicy looking that I had to add some fun nail art! I stamped some cute watermelons using Bells of Ireland by M Polish and stamping plate 07 from Moyou London's Tropical collection. The nail studs are from Claire's.

Overall, I love these jelly toppers. This type of fun and trendy polish is what I have come to expect from indie polish brands and I am thrilled to see an affordable mainstream option.

Did you get any of these polishes? I would love to hear about it and as always, thank you for reading!

  17. These were supposed to be toppers?! I have two of them and I just thought they where normal jellies. I love Horizon Shine, it's got a wonderful formula and looks awesome. The other one I have is Zest of the Times and I don't like it as much, it's much more sheer like you said.
