I received nail vinyls from Glam My Mani as part of their Glam Squad and used their French tip guide to create one of my favorite nail art: leopard prints!

This nail art is very simple and easy to recreate. Here is a nail pictorial illustrating the 4 main steps.

Step 1
Start with 2 to 3 coats of your base polish. Shown are 2 coats of 'Berlin There Done That' by O.P.I. This is a taupe color creme from O.P.I.'s Germany Nail Lacquer Collection. One coat was enough for full opacity and it will be good enough for everyday use.

Step 2
To create a gradient, apply several coats of you base polish and a second contrasting polish on a non-latex makeup sponge. Lightly dab the sponge on your base nail polish and repeat until you reach your desired opacity. The polish I  chose for my gradient is 'Genevieve' by Zoya. This polish is a dark gray creme with blue undertones and was released as part of the Zoya 2014 Entice Collection.

Step 3
After your gradient is completely dried, place your French tip vinyl guides diagonally. These nail vinyls from Glam My Mani are very easy to use and you can lift them and reposition them a few times until you get the placement right without damaging the vinyl or your paint job! Once you are happy with your vinyl placement, use a fine brush to paint leopard prints on the upper corners of your nails. Remove the nail vinyl and seal off your art with a layer of top coat.

Step 4
For your final, and optional step, apply 1 or 2 layers of a matte top coat. I used Sally Hansen's Big Matte Top Coat.
