Hello lovely readers! Today I am sharing my swatches and review of I Just Can't Wait by 5-free indie maker Moonflower Polish.
If you are an indie polish fan, chances are you have heard by now of Polish Pick Up (PPU). The concept: fans vote on a monthly theme and established indie makers offer one-of-a-kind polishes, body/hand care products, and jewelry that are inspired by the monthly's theme. What makes PPU so appealing is that polishes are only available for the PPU window (first weekend of the month), and the fact that all items ship from one location for shipping and handling fee (regardless of how many items and orders placed).
With that background, I am delighted to show you Moonflower Polish's very first item available for purchase through PPU.
In keeping with May 2018's 90's theme, I just Can't Wait was inspired by The Lion King (specifically, a scene with Simba in which the sunset in the background features a beautiful coral/salmon color). This pastel neon coral stamping polish features a subtle color shifting shimmer and microflakies and aurora pigment. When stamped, the shimmer and microflakies are more visible when topped with a matte top coat.
I just Can't Wait over a white base
For the first look, I stamped I Just Can't Wait over SinfulColors Whipped Frosting. I used the clear jelly stamper from Lantern & Wren and a stamping plate from P'etla Plates. I finished the look with a glossy top coat. [TIP: You may want to use a barrier (eg, latex) around your cuticle for easy removal of the polish's fine shimmer.]

For this last look, I stamped I Just Can't Wait over Moonflower Polish Noche. I used a soft silicone stamper from Fab Ur Nails and a stamping plate from Cici & Sisi. I finished the look with a glossy top coat.

I just Can't Wait over a black base
For this last look, I stamped I Just Can't Wait over pastel neon cremes from Pretty Serious. I used a soft silicone stamper from Fab Ur Nails and a stamping plate from Born Pretty Store. I finished the look with a matte top coat. [TIP: First apply a coat of a fast drying top coat and follow up with a coat of matte top coat one the polish is dry to the touch.]

Overall, I love this polish. It stamps beautifully over black, and the color really pops against white and other lighter base colors.
