Hello lovely reader. Today I have six more polishes from the new Zoya Sophisticate collection.
The new Zoya Sophisticate collection for Fall 2017 is comprised of 12 polishes. Most polishes are cremes with shades ranging from nudes and rose neutrals to sultry blues and reds.
I reviewed the pink and neutral tones here.
Today I am reviewing the six earthy and darker shades.
Elaine
This polish is a blackened brown glossy creme. The formula is a bit patchy on the first coat, and it may take at least two coats to self-level. Also, I found this polish to look darker on the nail vs the the bottle. Shown below are two coats plus glossy top coat.
Zoya Elaine |
Gal
This polish shimmery light peridot. The color applies looks very light after the first coat, so I recommend applying two to three thin coats to build opacity, and waiting three to five minutes in between coats. Shown below are three thin coats plus glossy top coat.
Zoya Gal |
Hadley
Zoya describes this polish as a midnight blue creme. The shade has a bit of green undertones and it is a bit darker in real life. The formula is great, covering and self-leveling after one coat. Shown below are two coats plus glossy top coat.
Zoya Hadley |
Mona
This is a reddish brick glossy creme. This too has a great formula, covering and self-leveling after one coat.. Shown are two coats plus glossy top coat.
Zoya Mona |
Tabitha
This is a forest green shimmery polish with a glossy finish. It does need two easy coats to become opaque. Shown below are two coats plus glossy top coat.
Zoya Tabitha |
Ivonne
This polish is a dusty reddish creme. This too has a great formula, covering and self-leveling after one coat. However, it may stain your cuticles, so beware! Shown below are two coats plus glossy top coat.
Zoya Yvonne |
Zoya Sophisticates
Overall, this is another strong collection from Zoya. The color range offers a bit of something for all tastes and the formulas are also outstanding, specially the cremes.
The Zoya Sophisticate collection is now available. This polishes retail for $10 US and can be found at www.zoya.com.
Make sure to follow Zoya on social media to stay up-to-date on releases, and check this space again for the second part of the Sophisticate collection.
