Mainstream Swatch and Review - Zoya Seashell Collection

Nothing to Disclose

Hello lovely readers! Today I have swatches and review of the Seashells collection by 5-free polish maker Zoya.

Zoya released two collections for Summer 2016: the Sunsets and the Seashells collections. The first collection features six crèmes and the second features six brand new Pixie Dusts.

Pixie dust is a type of Zoya finish that resembles the texture of sand. Although Zoya announced that it would be retiring Pixie Dusts in December 2014, fans are delighted that they were brought back!

The six Pixie Dusts that comprise the Seashells collection are: Linds, Cece, Bay, Tilly, Zooey, and Levi. All of these polishes have great formulas that self-level and cover with just two easy coats. Removal requires more effort compared to  a crème, but it's not too bad. I recommend the use of a top coat to minimize the texture (if the texture bothers you) and to extend wear. However, these wear beautifully and last on me for a good couple of days without a top coat.

Let's take an in-depth look below!

Linds
This is a tomato red textured polish with gold shimmer and red and fuchsia glitter. Shown below are two coats without top coat.

Zooey
This is a coral pink textured polish with gold shimmer and medium size holographic hex glitter. This one stands out as featuring the largest glitter (very similar to the Magical Pixie Dusts). Shown below are 2 coats without top coat.

Tilly

Overall, I love this collection. The shades differ from previous Pixie Dusts polishes and any collector would be happy to get these.

Zoya Pixie Dusts retail for $10.00 U.S. and can be purchased at Zoya and Ulta beauty retailers nationwide.
