Mainstream Swatch and Review - Sugar Crushin Collection by SinfulColors

Nothing to Disclose

Hello lovely readers! Today I have the Sugar Crushin Spring 2016 collection from SinfulColors.

Sugar Crushin nail polish collection by Sinful Colors

This is one of several Spring 2016 collections released by SinfulColors and it is comprised of 4 new polishes: Sugar High, Surreally Sweet, Sweeten the Teal, and Sweet Tooth.

The polishes are packed with tiny glass flecks that give them the "crushed sugar" texture. The generous glass flecks also make these a bit thick. However, the polishes do not pool at the cuticles and are easy to apply.

Let's take a closer look below!

Sugar High

This cobalt blue polish is filled with blue glass flecks. It's opaque in 2 generous coats, but I recommend applying it as thin coats. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Surreally Sweet

This magenta polish is packed with pink and blue glass flecks. It is opaque in 2 generous coats, but again, I recommend applying it as 3 thin coats. Shown below are 3 coats plus top coat.

Sweeten the Teal

This green-leaning teal polish is filled with green and gold glass flecks. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Sweet Tooth

Overall, I love this collection. The colors are bright and fun, and I really like the texture. If you love the colors but you do not like textured polishes, then avoid this collection. I applied a generous coat of glossy top coat and my nail surfaces still felt textured. If textured polishes are your thing, however, then feel free to treat yourself to these guilty pleasures!

These are available at Walgreens and retail for $1.99 US. Let me know if you are planning on picking these up or if you already grabbed a few!

  1. These colors are really pretty, but I'm not a fan of textured polishes. Love Sinful Colors, though. Great swatches!
