Hi lovely readers! I hope everyone is having a lovely February! I am thrilled to be back from my short hiatus to feature another great collection from DIFFERENT dimension, the 2015 Valentine collection. And yes, you read that right! This collection is a year old but totally review-worthy so I hope you continue to read after the jump!
The collection features 4 gorgeous polishes, each with its own color and finish. The polishes are named after 4 Erotes, which are winged gods associated with love and sex in Greek mythology: Eros, Hedylogos, Anteros, and Pothos.
Eros
Eros, named after the god of love, beauty, lust, and intercourse, is a red jelly filled tiny gold flakies. I have 3 or 4 other red polishes released in 2015 that also feature gold flakies and a "glow from within" finish.I must say, however, Eros is my favorite. The formula is fantastic, requiring only 2 easy coats for full opacity. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Hedylogos
Hedylogos, named after the god of sweet talk and flattery, is a jelly magenta polish filled with magenta holographic microglitter. The formula is a bit viscous, but it only takes 2 coats for full opacity. This polish has a bit of a texture when completely dry so I recommend applying a glossy top coat to make it smooth. The color is very saturated and may stain your cuticles so beware. Shown below are 2 coats plus top coat.

Anteros
Anteros, named after the god of requited love, features pink holographic microglitter in a clear base. This glittery polish can be worn as a full coverage glitter by layering thin coats. It is a textured polish so I recommend to use a glossy top coat with this one as well to make it smooth. This polish looks alright on the bottle but it is really, really gorgeous on a manicure. Shown below are 3 thin coats plus top coat.

Pothos
Pothos, named after the god of sexual longing or yearning, features sterling silver plated flakies and shimmer in a clear base. This too can be worn as a full coverage polish when worn as 3 thin coats or when applied with a makeup sponge. It is a textured polish, so again, apply a top coat to make it smooth and glossy. Shown below are 3 thin coats plus top coat.
Pothos by DIFFERENT dimension |
Overall, this is another outstanding collection from DIFFERENT dimension. I featured Pothos as one of my top 25 polishes from 2015 here, but Eros too is freaking gorgeous! And Anteros! Seriously, I'm thrilled I was able to score this collection last Spring and I'm sure I'll be using several of the polishes year-round.
Luckily, Pothos is still available at DIFFERENT dimension for $12.00 US. Do you own any of these or other DIFFERENT dimension polishes? I would love to hear from you!
