Indie Swatch and Review - Unicorns and Rainbows and Unicorn Disco Party by Polish Addict Nail Color

Hello my fellow polishers! I have been swatching and reviewing all of my Spring 2015 polishes before the season is over and today and have 2 more! These are Unicorns and Rainbows and Unicorn Disco Party by 5-free indie polish maker Polish Addict Nail Color.

Polish Addict Nail Color (PANC) is quickly becoming one of my favorite indie polish brands. I love crellies and I have been very happy will all of my PANC polishes, including Unicorns and Rainbows and Unicorn Disco Party.  Before I review and you get all excited about these two polishes, I have to say that they were part of the Unicorns and Rainbows March Monthly box and they are currently not available for purchase on the PANC site.

Unicorns and Rainbows
This polish is a white-based glittery crellie. The glitters come in all shapes and colors including: large holographic circles (green and purple-my favorite!), large hexagons (neon pink, blue, green and purple), medium hexagons (red), medium diamonds (red), squares (matted orange), small hexagons (green, purple, black and red), rods (white and pink), and tons of microglitter.

The formula self-levered but it took 3 coats to become opaque. The microglitter and the medium-size glitter were beautifully suspended throughout the polish. However, I did have to 'fish' for the larger pieces.

Shown below are 3 coats plus top coat.

Unicorn Disco Party
Up next is a pastel glittery crelly. This polish has a light yellow tint and like the polish above, it is packed with all types of fun glitter. Some of the glitters include: large hexagons (neon green and pink, matted, holographic blue), medium sized hexagons (matted white, black, purple, green and orange), multicolored round small glitter and micro glitter.

The formula was very similar to the one above. It took 3 coats for full opacity but there was still a bit of visible nail line, which is usually expected with crellies. I recommend you use a creme of a similar color as a base before applying if this is something that bothers you. Again, the microglitter and smaller glitter was beautifully suspended but I had to 'fish' for the larger pieces. For this, I recommend that you store your bottle upside down for as long as possible before using.

Shown below are 3 coats plus top coat.

As always, thank you for reading and please leave your comments below!
