Indie Swatch and Review - Supernova (Holo) by Starrily

Hi readers! Today I'm sharing swatches and review of Supernova (Holo) by 5-free indie polish maker Starrily.

Supernova (Holo) is a holographic, multi-chrome flakies polish in a clear base. I used 2 coats over Amethyst by SinfulColors (see below). The formula is pretty fantastic. It applies like butter, and before you know it, you have full opacity! Unfortunately, I think the base I chose and the holo in the polish make it impossible to appreciate the loose flakies. So, stay tuned for an update with a different base! Interestingly, I was able to capture a burgandy-blue shift on my nails, which is very different from what the polish looks like in the bottle, buts that is fine with me! The 4 photos below all show 2 coats over Amethyst and top coat.

Base. As base, I used 2 coats of Amethyst by SinfulColors.

Accent nail. The nail art on my ring finger was done using Penny Talk by Essie and Pueen's Encore stamping plate SE04A.

Do you own this polish or other flakies? What do you think of the trend? I would love to hear from you and as always, thanks for reading!
